Layers of air, dozens of subtle glazes one atop the other.With each brush stroke I am able to “touch”, both dismantle and reassemble the layers of reality around me. From touch comes safety, intimacy, authenticity - qualities I find in people, not places - my search for "home" after innumerable childhood upheavals.I paint and create to decipher, make contact, with each fragmented experience.
